Evelyn is one of the many girlfriends that Rio has had in his lifetime. What sets Evelyn apart is how long her relationship with Rio lasted. Rio had the tendency to abandon his girlfriend after a couple of months on average. Evelyn somehow managed to straighten him up for a while at least made him respect her to the point of not leaving her. She also was the only girlfriend that got along with Rio's parents. His parents respected her although wondered very often if their relationship would endure long enough. After a couple of years together their had a baby girl called Liliana (Lily). Evelyn grew very attached to her child and expected Rio to be the only father figure in Lily life meaning she expected him to always be there with his family. After a couple of years raising Lily together Rio was captured and jailed by the community for stealing, trafficking, and accused of killing the mayor's nephew. The mayor sentenced Rio in confinement for the minimum amount of ten years. Devastated that her hopes of having a stable family with Rio have been crushed she decided to leave the town with Lily and to never come back to Rio again. |
